Pattern engine — live paper book

How a pattern earns its place

  1. Each stock's history is cut in three, in time order: the oldest 70% to search in, the next 20% to check on, the newest 10% locked away.
  2. A behaviour is only recorded if it fired at least 30 times and its conservative hit-rate sits clear of how often the same thing happens anyway in that stock.
  3. Costs come off before anything is called profitable: about 20 bps per round trip, plus the win-rate that cost implies, plus a cushion.
  4. The locked 10% is opened once per tier, never to tune anything, and every opening is logged.
  5. Nothing is traded with real money. Every position on this site is simulated.

Why the numbers here can move

The hunt runs continuously as more history lands, so counts grow. Anything still loading says so rather than showing a confident number.
